In April, 34 people lived in the Foundation’s House. Most of them are students from Ukrainian universities, Kharkiv and Sumy. They were accompanied by several teachers.
They came for the ‘Sleep in Silence’ program.
We organized meetings with representatives of Cetinje City Hall, guided tours of Kotor, went to the mountains and held lectures with FLAS teachers. It was important for us that these days were rich and interesting.
To pay off the debt for renting a Temporary house and pay utility bills, we announced an urgent fee. To be honest, we were scared. Because there were still many groups – women and children from Ukraine-who were going to come to us in the summer, in September, October, November. All the rooms were already painted. And there was no money.
Our partner, a friend of Pristanište, publisher Alexander Gavrilov supported our call for help and shared it on Facebook. The post received more than 400 likes and 500 shares.
Even children joined in the support: children from the Adriatic Novi school in Kumbor made their own box for donations and gave it to us in April. There was 230 euros!
As a result, our accounts received 7,714 pounds sterling, 4,177 US dollars, 800 euros and 500 usdt. And all this is thanks to you!
To finally close the debt on the rental of a Temporary house and continue to help Ukrainian children, we need another 7,800 euros. We really hope to find this amount.
