We created this program in March 2023 to help children and women from Ukraine cope with the stress brought by the war. The Pristanište House is the only shelter in Montenegro that welcomes people with disabilities. Guests are also welcome to bring their pets if they have no one to leave them with in Ukraine.
During their stay in Montenegro, the children spend 12–14 days free from the constant threat of war. They breathe the sea air, spend time in nature, and take part in cultural and social activities that help them regain a peaceful rhythm of life, far from everyday danger. These days are of great importance for their psychological recovery and for strengthening their sense of safety.
what we do

Thank you for the opportunity to sleep without fear
Family from Kiev, 30.09.2025
We are a family from Kyiv and would like to sincerely thank you for the opportunity to experience such a wonderful holiday for the first time. We were captivated by the landscapes — especially the mountains and the sea.
Thank you for the chance to sleep without fear or shelling, and for the warm, clean sea. We don’t know when we’ll have another opportunity to rest like this.
With gratitude from me and my daughter Veronika.
