Pristanište: January Digest

Pristanište is proud to share the impact we made in January, supporting refugees navigating challenging times.

  • 42 individuals sought Pristanište’s help, receiving vital information and guidance. 23 individuals residing in our temporary shelter were provided with accommodation and essential aid, including 25 food packages. Notably, 5 individuals benefited from expert psychological consultations.
  • For the third time, 9 Ukrainian teenagers and their teachers participated in a transformative rehabilitation program. This initiative empowers families impacted by the conflict.
  • The holidays brought joy to over 100 children, who received sweet treats and toys. We shared this magic with Uniting Hearts UA, a vibrant Ukrainian community.
  • Engaging over 30 internal events, Pristanište fostered connection and growth. Refugees enjoyed scenic walks, language lessons, creative workshops, informative lectures, and more.
  • Music united hearts through «Our Rock» concerts in Budva and Herceg Novi. Musician Mikhail Borzykin, alongside Katarina Sinchilla and Viktor Koshel, offered a unique program in Ukrainian and Russian. Additionally, our dear partners, Adriatic College school, organized a student performance, «Crazy Tea Party,» raising funds for Pristanište’s programs.
  • Our community keeps growing! Pristanište welcomed new volunteers in copywriting, design, translation, and psychology, bolstering our support network.
