Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, activists who left Russia before the fighting began began asking themselves: how can they help Ukrainian refugees and Russian and Belarusian political emigrants?
Communities and projects that provide relocation assistance to those who are in danger in their home country have begun to appear in Armenia, Turkey, Georgia, Montenegro and other countries. Such initiatives not only save people, but also form horizontal connections between Russians, Belarusians and Ukrainians. Idel.Realii spoke with representatives of three organizations that help those who were forced to leave their homeland.
