ANTON KETOV
In the spring of 2022, Anton Ketov resided at Pristanište and produced a series of paintings, which he generously donated to the foundation.

"These works represent a reimagining of my ongoing series inspired by the Noon Universe of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky. The unfolding events in Ukraine and my profound emotional response have dramatically transformed the familiar themes. Now, this once-vibrant world has been violently overturned and shattered, with a menacing black void from the past looming overhead, stripping us of both present and future. The world has begun to disintegrate and dissolve. This series explores the fundamental fragility and unsettling instability of our shared reality."

ALES KOCHEVNIK
Artist Ales Kochevnik stayed at the temporary residence Pristanište in summer 2023. In autumn 2024, together with other residents and volunteers, she created a work inspired by the French Rococo artist François Boucher's "Allegory of Painting." This work was subsequently transformed into eleven art objects. The project was titled "Save As Image."
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I enjoy experimenting with form and transforming two-dimensional objects (paintings) into three-dimensional works that can be used in everyday life. I appreciate when seemingly unreachable art, museum paintings, become accessible, practical, and, in a sense, ordinary objects. This is particularly significant during the major and tragic events we are currently experiencing. Pure art is beautiful, but at certain moments, a refugee needs a backpack more than anything, and a child needs a toy.
