We took turns reading the names of repressed people - first name, patronymic, last name, age, profession, sentence.
The action was invented by "Memorial" society, which has recently received the Nobel Peace Prize, but from the beginning till now it has been carried out by volunteers in many cities.
This action is a reminder of the most important, unconditional principle: there is nothing more valuable than human life, and therefore the state has no right to kill people. Neither in 1937, nor in 2022.
Many people gathered at Podrum to take part in the action. Together we read 160 names.
Thank you to everyone who came to Podrum that day.
