May Digest of Pristanište: Children’s Sale, Lectures, and Lute Fantasy

  • In May, 18 people stayed at the temporary home Pristanište. Among them, 13 were from Ukraine and 4 from Russia. This includes 5 people under the «Sleep in Silence» program. This program was created for those who continue to live in Ukraine under wartime conditions — for the soldiers’ families, volunteers, and children.

  • We distributed 17 food packages, providing refugees with essential supplies for the initial period.

  • We held over 15 internal events aimed at adaptation and support: Montenegrin language classes, a walk through Kotor, art history lectures, meetings with representatives of the Civil Alliance and Red Cross, a singing ensemble, math classes, and an English conversation club.

  • As part of our Podrum art community program, we organized and held events:
— A children’s garage sale, where toys, clothes, and shoes could be purchased for any donation in favor of refugees and displaced persons.
—A lecture by Olga Khokhlova, «Resilience during Change» — what it is, where it comes from, and how we can develop it.
— A concert and lecture «Lute Fantasy» — a journey into the Renaissance era.

  • Our dear friends and partners held several events to support Pristanište program participants. We will share how much funds we managed to raise together with our partners and how exactly they will help refugees in a separate report on social media.

  • Last month, we added 2 video lectures with Predrag Krkelić to our YouTube channel. We are already preparing another one with a different speaker. Subscribe and click the bell icon so you do not miss our new videos.
